RECORDING: Paediatric Surgery On-call Survival Course

The Paediatric Surgery On-call Survival Course course curriculum has been developed and will be delivered by London Paediatric Surgery Registrars. Please note that this course will be held virtually this year.

Who?

This course is aimed at junior doctors who want to improve their understanding and ability to manage commonly encountered presentations in paediatric surgery.

Appropriate for those with an interest in pursuing a career in paediatric surgery as well as those with upcoming paediatric surgery surgery jobs, regardless of career goals.

What?

A one day focused course aimed at improving theoretical knowledge and surviving a paediatric surgery on-call shift.

Teaching will consist of a series of short lectures focusing on presentations commonly encountered by junior doctors with an emphasis on the areas they most often find challenging.

Why?

The course aims to improve theoretical knowledge to allow junior doctors to more confidently and appropriately manage paediatric surgery patients which can be a very daunting task, particularly on the many occasions they find their registrar and consultant in theatre!

Course fee: £20 and includes a course certificate
